How do you keep an email from showing everyone it is sent to?

I am a preschool teacher and am starting an email newsletter. Not all my parents want their email addresses published. How do you keep the addresses from showing in the sent messages. I know that I have gotten messages that show the sender as who it was sent to, but I'm not computer savy enough to figure this out...I have tried.
