What you think of this story I wrote?

Well written, but I find it more than a little bit pretentious. It was like an allusion overload. Stop trying so hard to try to impress people with your pop culture knowledge (I as a writer hate it when people do that) Just tell a story! And that last line was so cliched! You have talent, so let it speak for itself.
