CIS4(P) tax Deductions?

I am a sole trader and have been contracted by a company to carry out works. I now need to invoice them for the first installment but am unsure whether I deduct 20% tax from the gross as this figure will include materials purchased and payments I have made to my sub contractors. Please help!! :)
