I just made dressing and it has a funny aftertaste what could of caused this?

I made my cornbread and put in about 2 and 1/2 cans of chicken broth, I cooked my onions in my cornbread and added 2 hard boiled eggs (chopped). It has a horrible aftertaste though, Anybody out there no what could have caused this.
