Why is risk of toxicity greater with fat-soluble vitamins A & D than water soluble vitamins in general?

Water soluble vitamins are excreted by the body easily and need daily replenishment. The fat soluble vitamins are not used everyday so they're stored in the liver and fatty tissues, are eliminated much more slowly than the others, aculate in the body and megadoses can lead to toxicity.
