Death Penalty Essay Help?

I am doing a five-section essay for my civics cl in a legislative "bill simulation" and my topic is the death penalty. I have a bunch of information, but am having trouble finding three distinct points supporting abolition of the death penalty and two distinct points supporting continuation of the death penatly. Any help on these points or how I could word my essay would be great!
