Is it ever ok to have an abortion? Im at 6 weeks but caught a serious infection, Dr's say?

The od's of blindness, serious malformations, retardation ect are extreamly high and they cannot treat me while pregnant and suggested I terminate the pregnancy. Which I'm likely going to do cause I rather live and dont want to bring a terrible ill child into this world knowing the ods. What do you think
