In the first place, you're stressing way too much over ONE day in a cl. If someone invited you to a party at their house, they would provide the food so just look at it like that. I know everyone else is bringing something, but remember in potlucks there is always way too much food. No one is even going to notice. And if you think about it, you are going to eat a meal at school that you would normally have paid for yourself. Why don't you see what that amount of money can buy? It doesn't have to be something that feeds all 35 people in the cl (an example). Or it can be the cheap thing like the napkins. You know,...most teachers know that most students are short of cash. I'm sure others in the cl are in the same or similar position only you don't know it. Perhaps it's also time to simply make the sacrifice of a few extra dollars for this cl activity to avoid the discomfort you will clearly feel, OR accept that most people know students are strapped for cash, enjoy the bratwurst, and be done with it. I would have made a joking/real comment like, "OK, I'm signing up for napkins because I'm totally broke!" Something to let others know where you stand. But the long and short of it is, make the sacrifice if you need to. You really shouldn't take the "living on a shoestring" philosophy so literally when travelling to other countries. You should always have some emergency money/credit card you can access if you need it, or a parent or friend who could send you some extra cash to help you with your travelling experience, and you can pay them back when you return. It's not that big a deal, so try not to make it one in your head, and you'll have a better time at the party and do better in school. Good Luck.

I am making spaghetti and meat tonight for the first time! We usually just have spaghetti with meat sauce. The recipe for the meat has you bake them so I was just going to add them to my heating sauce after they are cooked. I want to add some zucchini to get some veggies in there. Would it be best to add the zucchini when I very first heat the sauce so they will have time to get tender or should I steam it first to make sure it is tender. My hubby and daughter will not eat if its still crunchy at all. What do you think??? Any advice welcome!

I was also in a car accident on my way from leave in May this year and dislocated my collar bone and fractured my shoulder blade and have now been in a sling for two months and will continually have to wear for an additional three months...and also sprained my knee and ankle since it landed under the car and four stitches on my arm...So after the accident i tried to get quarters and they gave me TWO DAYS!?! I'm currently not able to do anything...just sit around the motorpool and burn in the heat which i have been known to p out, throw up or get a migraine...or im get told to do mechanic work which i am 110lbs, small frame and all my broken up body!!! I would love to do what i signed up for but i can deal with just about anything. I went from high speed, waivered promotion to spc, and 300 on pt test and running a 14:40 to lazy can only walk and lift no more than 20lbs...am even non deployable...I need to get out so I can start working again...and get out of Fort Hood.

i recently painter my dodge ram with valspars trator impliment paint i mixed it with paint thinner to about the consistancy of milk and added 3 caps of hardener to about a quart i dident use primer the lady at the auto body shop said if i just wipe it down with a scotch brite pad the paint is oil based and my gegage is heated but i shut the heater off when i was done and it cools down quick in their also can i use a water based clear coat over the oil based paint please help

Pouring from gallon milk containers?

Does anyone else have trouble with that FIRST pour out of a plastic gallon container? I seem to ALWAYS either dribble the milk down the side of the container or it makes a splashy mess when I pour it into my coffee? Is it just me? Is there a trick to making that first pour without a mess? It seems to also be more with jugs that you unwind the plastic strip from the cap, versus the jugs with the solid perforated plastic ring that separates when you twist the cap for the first time.

Last year for the cubs when the bullpen was a major mess, marmol came up from the minors and provided major relief for the rest of the season. Now this years cubs bullpen isn't nearly a mess as it was last year, but you have wood on the DL, howry having a terrible year, and the only other 2 relievers the cubs can trust are marmol and cotts, both of which are very inconsistent. It really sounds like arthritis. You need to have a soft, thick dog bed or cushion for him to lay on. While lying on the hard floor, his body is getting sore and stiff from the arthritis. You can give him a baby aspirin (NO Tylenol - it is toxic to dogs) to help with the pain. You could also put a long runner/rug down for him to walk on so he doesn't slip.

Your swing shouldn't change, it's just the length of the club that changes. Low and slow when taking the club back and accelerate through on the down swing. Transfer your weight to your left side at impact. I like the reference of skipping a rock across water in the down swing because the motion is about the same. Give that a try and hopefully that helps you to improve. Another thing to try is to not grip the club so tightly to ease the tension in your muscles. You wouldn't believe how much of a difference that makes.

I am about to receive the new 8-core Mac Pro. I would like to upgrade its RAM to its maximum capability. I would rather avoid doing it through Apple because of their overpriced items. How can I convince my parents to let me get a bigger, softer bed?

I am 13 years old. I am a girl but I am super tall, 5 foot 8 inches and still growing. I also have severe scoliosis which makes my back hurt all the time. Good protection breed for cold weather?

I may be moving to Ohio soon, and I'm planning to get a 2nd dog shortly after I arrive. I currenly own a 4.5 month old male Akita, and will be getting a female pup once he is about 7-8 months old. I support rescue, and will look for my next dog on Petfinder, but would like some opinions on a good breed. I prefer guardian breeds (hence the Akita) that are 70-100 lbs. as adults. Will need a double coat to endure the cold on walks and such (although it will be an indoor dog). I've researched many of the mastiff-type breeds, but am unsure how they do in the cold. Also considering a Malamute, German Shepherd, or Great Pyrenees. I know the males of these breeds can get over 100 lbs, but I'm looking for a female and so they may still fit into the size range I'm thinking of. The dog would live on 1-2 acres with a fenced yard and my Akita as a companion. Thanks for your opinions!

6 months ago I moved to another state with my boyfriend thinking that he was the one and although i do love him, there are several things that make me uneasy and unsure if this is for me. Pain and numbness in left side of chest and arm?

I just woke up with an intense pain in the left side of my chest. I got really scared because it was very sharp but then after a few moments of deep breathing the pain went away slightly and became a dull pain. Right now its already been about 20 minutes and I feel a dull/numb ticklish almost sort of feeling in my chest and running down my left arm. Its making my left side very weak to the point that i can hardly lift it. I got scared before and started feeling dizzy but i think it was mostly me having a panic attack from the pain thinking it was a heart attack or something bc i dont know what to make of this... im scared :( sigh Stress most definitely kills. Yes, i'm a first timer this year and I'm in first for both of my squads (one auto draft one not), either way I think this team has a chance if it was real. I keep hearing this unusual noise on my music?

Alright so i'm producing hip hop beats on FL studio 9.0 and when I get the drum layer by itself on the background I hear a crinkling kind of noise. Like paper being crumbled. Turn the radio off, then turn the ignition on, as you then turn the radio back on hold the as on at the same time, keep them pressed for about 10 seconds and you should hear a beep. this will then allow you to put the code in. after inputting the code press the as on again to store the code. this should rectify the situation for you. you need car engine to be running as it is another in built system for the stereo and without the engine running it will not allow you to go to the screen where you enter the code.

I would say it's just a pimple! Sometimes pimples come back repeatedly in the same spot, it's actually more common then you would think. Yes, it may hurt considering it's in your ear, and I know you're not recommend to pop pimples but the same thing happened to me and once I popped it, it healed and went away. There is only one known phenomenon that is universally and temporally directional: entropy. My intuition tells me that entropy makes more sense to use as a 4th dimensional vector than time; even black holes obey entropy emitting Hawking radiation. I say, time makes a lot more sense if we just let it be a less interesting byproduct of other forces: Temporal gradient is somehow integrally tied up in the flux of light through space (which can later be simplified in terms of entropy) bound by gravity. Isn't that already simpler? What do y'all think?
